Obituaries

Bret Michael Mann of Dexter, MI, Age 33, died Thursday, January 28, 2010.  He was born June 2, 1976 in Ann Arbor the son of John and June Mann.  Bret was a talented artist, a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle and grandson.  He was an accomplished athlete, wrestling since age 5, having been a state qualifier and conference champion multiple times.  Bret was a diver for the Huron Valley Swim Club, an Honors Student at Dexter High School and graduated with honors from Washtenaw Community College and Full Sail University in Orlando, FL.  He had also attended Western Michigan University.  Bret had a big heart, and was loved by everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.  Survivors include his parents John and June Mann, sister Erin (Nick) Garcia, brother Cory (Jill) Mann, nephews Maverick and Gavin Leschack, nieces Kylee and Gracie Garcia and a niece on the way, Laila Mann, his paternal grandparents Eugene and Louise Mann and many other family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Helen Levy.
