Obituary for Alec T. Vorhoff
Alec T. Vorhoff of Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones on December 31, 2019 at the age of 17. He is the Angel son of Heather M. Vorhoff. Alec is preceded in death by his father, John R. Vorhoff, Jr.
Alec went home to be with the Lord after a very courageous four year fight against brain cancer. Alec had a heart of gold and touched all of us with his incredible aura of goodness. Alec loved the outdoors and had a love for animals, especially his dog Walter.
A visitation will take place Monday, January 6, 2020 from 1 pm until 8 pm with a sharing of memories at 6 pm at Nie Funeral Home, 3767 W. Liberty Rd., Ann Arbor. Additional visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 10:30 am until time of funeral service at 11 am at NorthRidge Church, 49555 N Territorial Rd, Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any of the following: Mother, Heather Vorhoff, Ronald McDonald House, or ASPCA (American Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
