Obituary for Alyvia J. Guidry
Alyvia J. Guidry passed away on April 3, 2022.
Alyvia was born on July 14, 1971 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to parents, John and Doris Guidry, who preceded her in death. Also preceded in death by her brother, Jonathan J. Guidry. Alyvia is survived by her three sisters and one brother, Anna Guidry, Juanita Guidry Henderson, Mary Evans, and John Guidry; and many nieces, nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Alyvia graduated from Ypsilanti High School in 1989, and then went on to the Air Force, where she was stationed in Guam, and received an honorary discharge from service. Alyvia enjoyed life to the fullest, enjoyed cooking Creol food for family and friends, and had a love for her pets. She worked at the VA in Ann Arbor, Michigan in the Human Resources office from 2015 to 2022.
Family and friends are welcome to gather on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Nie Family Funeral Home, 2400 Carpenter Rd., Ann Arbor, Michigan, at 3pm, for a moment of sharing to begin at 4pm.
Cremation has taken place.
