Obituary for Barbara A. Stoner
Barbara A. Stoner, age 89, died December 4, 2019. She was born September 25, 1930 in Howell, Michigan, the daughter of Claude T. and E. Maye (Baker) Stoner.
Ms. Stoner had lived in the Dexter-Ann Arbor area since 1942. A graduate of Cleary College, she retired from the University of Michigan in 1996 after 41 years of service in the Medical Center. She had been an active member of CREST Club, Ltd. And more recently of the Senior Citizens Guild, Ann Arbor. She continued to serve the hospital after retirement as a volunteer.
Survivors include her sister, E. Jean of Ann Arbor; one nephew, four nieces, several grand nephews and grand nieces, one great-grandniece, two great-grandnephews, and many friends survive as well.
She was predeceased by her brother, Marion J. (Beverly) and her sister, Catherine L. (Richard) Kelly.
A private family service was held and cremation has taken place.
