Obituary for Betty L. Otto
Betty, age 94, passed away on September 16, 2022 and was born on November 18, 1927 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
After raising four children, Betty had a distinguished career as a customer service rep at Sears for over 20 years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and a longtime member of Darlington Lutheran church. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and quilting.
Betty is survived by her children, John (Ronica) Otto III, Larry (Lorraine) Desbrough, Leo (Pam) Otto, Jerry (Cheryl) Otto; nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren, one great-great grandson; and her sister, Arlene Morris.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, John Otto Jr.; her daughter, Connie Desbrough; two sisters.
A funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, September 20, 2022 with visitation beforehand at 10am at Nie Family Funeral Home, 2400 Carpenter Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48108.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Betty’s honor to the Darlington Lutheran Church, 3545 Packard St., Ann Arbor, MI 48108.
