Obituary for Chase Curtis Masten

Chase Masten, age 25, passed away unexpectedly. He lived life fully as a generous, kind, and loving person who enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, and caring for pets. He was able to talk with anyone and quick to lend a helping hand. Chase was patient and accepting of all. For those who knew him well, he had a wonderful sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He was a fan of cruises and loved running down the dunes at Lake Michigan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his fiancé and best friend, Megan Floyd.

Chase was born on May 24, 1995 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and was the son of Mary McGuinness and Stephen Masten. He graduated from Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, and studied at Washtenaw Community College and the University of Michigan. Chase was incredibly bright, and he recently completed a certificate in Computer Systems Technology with high honors.

He is survived by his parents and his sister, Megan Masten.

Chase will be greatly missed and always remembered.

A private celebration of life is being held for close family and friends.
