Obituary for Dao Liang "Donald" Wu
Don Wu of Saline, Michigan passed away peacefully on December 23, 2022, at the age of 84. Don was born in Shanghai, China to T.W and Lily Chang Wu where he was the fourth of five children. He came to the United States to study mechanical engineering and worked as a mechanical engineer for Ford Motor Company. Don was the recipient of several important technical awards. He was a long time Ann Arbor resident before moving to Saline.
Don was an avid bicyclist, skier, and audiophile. He was a loving uncle to his nephews and niece.
He is survived by his nephews, Gary (Betty) and Brian, and his niece, Amanda (Joe), as well as grand nephews, grand nieces, and numerous cousins.
As per his wishes, his family held a private service.
