David A. LeRoy, of Ann Arbor died January 3, 2020 at the age of 72. He was born October 5, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to James and Marjorie LeRoy. David served in the U.S. Army, prior to proudly working for 50 years in the same profession as a software engineer. David is survived by his wife Barbara of 46 years; his sons Brian and Matthew; his granddaughter Emma; his sister Nancy (Charles) Burk and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents. A visitation will take place Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 4 to 7 pm at Nie Funeral Home, 3767 W. Liberty Rd., Ann Arbor. Additional visitation on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alliance for the Great Lakes.
