Dolores Frances Krawczak Zielinski, age 99, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022.
Her life’s journey began October 26, 1922 in Saginaw, Michigan. Born at home with assistance from a midwife (grandma) and a veterinarian. Her father owned a grocery store, bakery, and bar. Dolores worked at her dad’s grocery store until she was married. She worked several years at Sears & Roebucks in Saginaw and Ann Arbor in the catalog department.
On July 27, 1946, she married the love of life, John Chester Zielinski. Together, they raised four children: Paul, Gary, Dennis, and Mary Kay. Due to a job opportunity for her husband John they moved to Ann Arbor in 1969 and remained there.
Dolores was an amazing woman who conquered anything thrown her way. She had a strong faith, loved her family, enjoyed gardening, loved to read, and enjoyed trips up north every fall leaf peeping. Every fall she faithfully watched her favorite college football team Notre Dame.
