Lives Well Lived
Virginia and Donald Schneider married for 72 years, died together on November 16, 2020 following an accident. Active retirees in their 90s, they both enjoyed, traveling in their RV, going to auctions and flea markets, and spending time with family. Dad, a retired Teamster, and master mechanic, enjoyed fishing and could fix anything. Mom was the world’s best cook and an active volunteer with St. Francis of Assisi Church.
They leave behind their adult children, Judy, Richard (Adeoti Oshinowo), Jean (Robert) Torrance and many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. They were preceded in death by their grandson, Nicholas Torrance, and siblings, Raymond Egnash, Gloria (James) Ayers, and Julie (Arthur) Clark.
They will be missed.
Due to the COVID pandemic we will postpone memorial services until we can meet again for a celebration of their lives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in their honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
