Obituary for Doris Jean Hinchcliff
Doris passed away at the age of 79 on Saturday, July 11, 2020 and was born on May 30, 1941 in Harrisburg, Illinois. She married James R. Hinchcliff on April 7, 1980 in Dade County, Florida. Doris retired from Edward Brothers Inc. after 25 years. She was a member of Ypsilanti Assembly of God, as well as the founder of Ladies Reach Out Ministries and held a radio broadcast called Ladies Corner. Doris also loved gardening, cooking, and singing.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, James; her children, Cherie Wilson, Jeff (Serena) Wilson, Carrie (Mickey) Frye, Roger (Glynda) Hinchcliff, Michael Hinchcliff; and seven grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11am at Ypsilanti Assembly of God; 701 Holmes Rd, Ypsilanti, MI 48198. Face masks will be required and please maintain social distancing practices unless you are within the same household. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Ypsilanti, Michigan.
