Doris Marie (Convis) Williams passed away November 10, 2019. She was born April 28, 1929, to Ellwyn “Dick” and Mary (Bugarski) Convis, in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She graduated from Owosso High School in 1946. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Education and Master’s of Secondary Education from Eastern Michigan University. She taught business courses for 22 years in Ann Arbor Public Schools. She married Paul W. Williams at First Methodist Church, Ypsilanti on June 16, 1950. He passed away July 24, 2007.

Surviving are her three sons, Kurt (Donna), Kristopher (Melissa), and Kent (Mary); seven grandchildren, Meghan (Ryan), Brittney (Greg), Kaitlyn (Kevin), Kalli (Corey), Lex, Sarah (Eray), and Ryan (Deanna); great-grandchildren Jase, Lyla, Abygail, Milieya, Zoephya, Sealye, Benjamin, Samantha, and Carson.

Cremation has taken place and the cremated remains will be placed in the First United Methodist Memorial Garden, Ypsilanti, Michigan. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 10 am until memorial service at 11 am at the Nie Funeral Home, 3767 W. Liberty Rd., Ann Arbor.
