Edward Scott, 67, of Ann Arbor, MI, passed away unexpectedly on February 18, 2020. Ed was born on November 27, 1952 in Detroit, MI to John Scott and Mary Scott. On May 14, 1977 he married Annie and she survives. Ed was a kind hearted man who brought joy and laughter to the lives he touched. He was an amazing husband, brother, son, father, and grandfather (“Pop”) who loved his family more than anything in the world. He spent his last years teaching, volunteering with Meals on Wheels, traveling the country with his beloved wife and enjoying time with his cherished grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Ed is survived by his mother, Mary Scott of Cape Coral, FL; daughters Callie Scott of Philadelphia, PA, Libby (Matt) Makowsky of Dexter, and Emily (Dave) Mercadante of High Point, NC; grandchildren Ellie and Edie Makowsky and Lucy, Maggie, Oliver and Hope Mercadante; siblings Ann (Jerry) Blackwell, Janet Pascoe, Leta (Tyler) Lee, Dave (Dawn) Scott, Julie Wylie, Jim Scott, and Teresa (Gary) Burns; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John Scott, brother, Joe Scott and niece, Katie Sedgeman.
