Obituary for Elodie Anne Sarrault

Elodie Anne Sarrault was our amazing, tiny warrior. She was with us for such a short time after we met her, touching all the hearts, with her bright eyes that followed our every move and stink-eyed when things were not quite up to her standards. She came into this world with 22q Deletion Syndrome and fought the complications with every ounce of strength in her little body. She was amazing, feisty perfection and will be missed every single day of our lives. We long to hold her close, hear her gentle kitten cries, feel her hand squeeze our finger, do her hair and take her to the zoo. We don't know how to be without her. Nothing prepared us for her absence, as we were always hopeful for her life with us.

Elodie is survived by the family that loved her and cherished her...her mama, Lillian Joy Sarrault; grandparents, Cory and JoAnne Sarrault; uncles, Nathan (Mikayla Kauffman) Sarrault and Luke Sarrault; her GG, Diane McCarthy; aunties, Meghan Reithel and Elizabeth Coenen; and her great uncles and aunties. Elodie is also survived by her father, Adam Hartman; paternal grandparents, Annette Hartman and Kenneth Hartman; uncle, Luke (Rachel) Hartman; and aunts, Victoria Garcia and Grace Hartman.

A celebration of Elodie Anne's precious life will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 11 am, at the Cheboygan Covenant Church. Friends may visit with the family from 10-11 am. A luncheon will follow the memorial.
