Obituary for Haizhu Ye 葉海珠
Haizhu Ye, age 72, passed away on February 12, 2021, after a few days fighting with complications from chronic disease.
Haizhu was born in Meixian, Guangdong, China, on February 3, 1949, to parents, Qizheng Ye and Pingru Hou. She is the oldest sister with three younger sisters and three younger brothers. She married to Wanrong Gu in 1973, and since then has lived in Guangxi Province. She lived in Jingya, Fengshan from 1973 to 1980, Fengshan town from 1980 to 1988, and Nanning from 1988 to 2005. She came to U.S. to visit her daughter Haoyu Gu in 2005 and since then stayed in U.S.
Haizhu worked as teacher, librarian, accountant and cashier. She is a caring mom for two children. In the last 24 years of her life, she devoted herself to spiritual beliefs and reading and practicing what she deeply cherished and believed.
She is survived by her husband, Wanrong Gu; her son, Guiying Gu; her daughter, Haoyu Gu; and many other family members and friends.
