Bargo, Herma, age 80, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, formerly of Fairborn, Ohio and Plymouth, Michigan passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness. Herma was born on October 29, 1939 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Amos and Zellia Gayheart. In 1963 she married the love of her life Donald M Bargo in Fairborn, Ohio and he preceded her in death. Herma retired from Ann Arbor Public Schools. She had a love or baking and gardening and she was well known for her excellent food. She loved to cook and always wanted to make sure everyone was fed and happy. She loved her grandsons and all the kids that passed thru her home, many children of the Dixboro community called her grandma and she loved them as her own. Herma is survived by her children Donald (Elizabeth) Bargo and Tammy Bargo, grandchildren Jacob and Alexander Bargo. Also survived by her siblings Anna Marie Smith, Corrine Collins, and Mart Henry. She was preceded in death by her siblings Irene, Carl, Ishmeal, Bud and Magdalene. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 10am until time of services at Dixboro United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 12pm at Dixboro United Methodist Church, 5221 Church Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
