Inez Laverne Smith (Laverne), age 74, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, fell asleep in death on December 13, 2019. Laverne was born on December 17, 1944, the eighth of nine children born to Inez Roberta and John Wilkins in Warren, Ohio. She is survived by her siblings: Agnes D. Perry, Monnette E. Micou, Kenneth D. Wilkins, Coreta J. Sisson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019: 4:30pm, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6420 Tuttle Hill Road, Ypsilanti Michigan.
