Obituary for James Marton
James Marton, age 72, passed away peacefully after an extended illness surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy (Osborne); his son, David Marton; his daughter, Kristine Lamkin; his grandchildren, Angelina Smith and Dylan Lamkin; his brother, Robert (Robin Giess) Marton of Arizona; his sister, Ruthellen Marton Alden of Indiana; and many loving friends and family.
Jim was an avid computer programmer for most of his life. In his spare time he also enjoyed many DIY projects at the family home. Jim was an animal lover no matter what kind. He had a heart of gold and thoroughly enjoyed talking for hours to anyone that would listen.
In light of the pandemic, a memorial service will be planned for the spring/summer of 2021.
