Obituary for Jarreau Marquan "Reaú" Boyer-Holland

Jarreau Marquan "Reau" Boyer-Holland was born August 3, 1989 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed away
on July 11, 2022.

Jarreau is survived by his mother, Angela Stevens and her life partner, Jason Sewell; Bonus Dad, Christopher Stevens (LaDara); Bonus Mom, Valerie Boyer; his siblings, Jocelyn Marie Holland, Jarrius Juan Carlos Mann, Jordan Michelle Stevens, Jerome Eugene Boyer, Jr. and Jerimiah Donnie Boyer; grandmothers, Patricia Ann Holland and Mattie Ellen Muse; aunts, Concetta Hogan, Adrienne Holland, Daria Hardy, and Pamela Pollock, Shannan Pearson (god aunt); uncles, Asheley Holland (Robyn), Darien Hardy, and Josephius Pollock, Ill. He is preceded in death by his father, Jerome Eugene Boyer, Sr.; grandfathers, Clyde L. Holland, Donnie Boyer; and grandmother, Joanne Boyer-Hardy.

Jarreau was an avid music lover, a producer, and had a talent for aspiring new artist. Jarreau was the founder of Boyer-Holland Management Group and with the help of William "Billy Da Kid" Elder created the brand RSK (Rock Star Kings) which included clothing and various other merchandising. The development of artists was Jarreau's special gift. Jarreau loved to travel, had an appetite for culinary cuisines thanks to his mother who is an excellent chef and trained his pallet well for fine dining. Jarreau was a loving, caring and protective son, big brother to his siblings, the ultimate uncle to his two nieces, Riley Michelle Hardy and Rayá Rose Marie Hudson, whom affectionately call him Uncle RoRo, his cousins, Autumn Lewis (Theron), Azende Harris, Isaiah Ransom, Donnell Cusick, Falan & Alyssa Hogan, and a loyal friend. Jarreau always drew his strength from his faith and was accepting of people of all ethnicities and religion.

It didn't matter if you knew Jarreau as "RoRo","RoDiddy", or "Ro", there are many people very close, special, and dear to Jarreau throughout his life. Jarreau shared his brotherly love with Naji Kahala, Anthony Hamilton, Marlon Silva, John Wolfe, Jeff Strickland, Senque Dickerson, Derek Brown, Katrina Dowdy, Shavelle Little, and Denae Reeves.

Family and friends are invited to pay respects at Nie Funeral Home located at 2400 Carpenter Rd. Ann Arbor Michigan 48108 on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 5-9pm, with a celebration of life taking place on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 12pm.
