Jeannine Elizabeth (Crumbaugh) Huff, 82, of Manchester, Michigan, passed away on February 24, 2022.
Jeannine was born on February 4, 1940 to parents, James and Helen Crumbaugh, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After graduating from high school at age 17, Jeannine started her career at University Microfilms, a global information-content and technology company based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and was fortunate to serve many positions, later to retire in 2002.
Jeannine married Charles Richard Huff on November 14, 1970 and raised four sons together: Terry, Don, Charles, and Mark. Together as a family they enjoyed touring the country and camping amongst the United States. One of the most memorable trips was being part of a 36-vehicle, 73-person caravan to Alaska. In the wintertime, their motorhome took the couple to Florida and Arizona to visit friends and family.
Jeannine was a member at The United Methodist Church of Ann Arbor for her entire married life, where she took part in the square dancing club and the widow’s club after Charles’ passing. Jeannine also enjoyed square dancing, specifically with Charles for over 20 years, knitting a variety of items for family, friends, and coworkers, and also had a fondness in her heart for listening to Elvis. Above all else, spending time with her grandchildren meant the world to Jeannine.
Jeannine will truly be missed by those who survive her: sons, Terry (Carolyn), Don (Laura), Charles W. (Michelle); and grandchildren, Ashley (Andrew), Tyler, Logan, Derek, Isabelle and Madeline. In addition to her parents, Jeannine is preceded in death by her son, Mark; daughter in law, Linda; sister, Judy; brothers, Gary, Jim, and Joey.
A Memorial service will be held on March 20, 2022 starting at 2pm at The Greenwood Campus of First United Methodist Church (1001 Green Rd, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105). A burial of cremated remains will occur at Washtenong Memorial Park in Ann Arbor, Michigan on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 11am.
