Obituary for Jeffrey Thomas McKeone
Jeffrey Thomas McKeone was born November 7, 1967 in Paw Paw, MI. He passed away peacefully on October 31, 2019 at his home in Ypsilanti, MI. Jeffrey was a founding member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Ann Arbor, MI. He was the beloved son of John Patrick and Nancy Anne McKeone of Ypsilanti, MI.
Jeffrey is survived by his siblings: John (Cheryl) of Old Hickory, TN; Joseph (Renee) of Superior Township, MI; James (Catherine) of Hingham, MA and Juliet Brandau of Iva, SC. Jeff is also survived by his Uncle Thomas and Aunt Debby of Ballwin, MO; and cousins Kelly (Mark) Markus and Lynn McKeone. Jeff is also survived by beloved nieces and nephews: Jacob, Claire, Michael, Patrick, Liam, Meg, Kateri, Mara and Bridget. Jeff is also survived by the Hon. Anthony Patti (Helen) and their children. He had many beloved caregivers throughout his life. Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Margaret McKeone and John and Viola Burke, as well as Uncle F. Michael (Mick) McKeone.
A visitation will held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 5pm to 8pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at the Nie Family Funeral Home, 2400 Carpenter Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48108. Additional visitation will be Wednesday, November 6, 2019 beginning at 11am prior to the service at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4000 Ave Maria Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48105
A Mass of Christian burial be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 6th at 12pm. Interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, Dixboro, Michigan. A reception will follow at the parish center.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Louis Center in Chelsea, MI; Arbor Hospice, or Community Alliance Corp of Ypsilanti in honor of Jeffrey T. McKeone.
