Obituary for Joe Kim

Joe was born on August 14, 1961, in a small village called San Sue Goar, South Korea. After having battled with stomach cancer, he was granted his Angel Wings. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Joe had touched with the love of Jesus Christ. Joe lived a short life yet very memorable life.

Joe's life seems too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of life far exceeds the number of years in which one lives. His gentle smile and never-ending patience brought so much joy to his family and friends.

Although Joe was a quiet person, he gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the importance of following Christ. He loved spending time with his son and with his wife, who were his best friends, and he enjoyed family gatherings with his siblings.

Joe is survived by his wife, Hye-sook; his son, David; and by his siblings: Young-jin (youngest brother), Young-gu (younger brother), Young-whan (older brother), Young-joo (older sister), Jum-boon (older sister), and Kyung-hee (older sister).
