Obituary for Johnda McKinley Lowe
Johnda McKinley Lowe, 61, of Howell, MI, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022, in Michigan.
Johnda was born October 2, 1960, in Pikeville, KY, the son of Phyllis Robinette Lowe and the late Johnnie James Lowe. Johnda was also preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Lowe and grandparents, Orison Byrd Lowe, Hazel Lowe and Willard Robinette. Johnda worked in the trucking industry. Besides his mother is survived by one sister, Kimberly (Joseph) Montague; two brothers, Timothy Lowe and Johnnie James Lowe Jr.; two nieces, Emma and Anna Montague; his 103 year old grandmother, Mae Robinette and a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 AM, Sunday, January 9, 2022, at the Apple Orchard Old Regular Baptist Church, with Dwayne Smith, Richard Staton, Dale Williamson and Andrew Walters officiating.
Burial took place in the Apple Orchard Cemetery, Varney, KY, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held after 6 PM Saturday at the church with special services at 7 PM. R. E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry, KY, is serving the Lowe family.
