Kelli Lynn Parker, 50, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, passed away on November 25, 2020, after a lifelong battle with diabetes.
She was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan, on November 6, 1970. She graduated from Huron High School in Ann Arbor in 1988, and went on to study art at Washtenaw Community College.
Kelli was a talented artist who loved drawing and photography. She was also passionate about music, frequently introducing those around her to new bands and artists. She enjoyed watching women’s basketball and obscure cult movies. She was an avid reader and had an uncanny ability to correctly answer questions on Jeopardy! She loved all creatures, big and small. She rescued many animals over the years, and would often take in pets that no one else would care for. Kelli had a big heart, and will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
She is survived by her partner, Chantal; Chantal's daughters, Megan and Erin; her parents, James and Sue; her sister, Kristen; her brother-in-law, Shawn; and nephew, Maddox.
Kelli was cremated and her family will hold a memorial when it is safe to do so.
