Obituary for Margaret Lindsay Sturgis (Maggie)
Margaret L. (Maggie) Sturgis, age 68, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed away at her home on January 2, 2023.
Longtime resident, graduated from Huron High and the University of Michigan. She worked for many years as a swim coach and for the U of M as an administrator. She was disabled and suffered from ill health for several years before passing.
Survived by her husband, Edward Kortesoja, who cared for her at home; her brother, Billy (Liz) Sturgis, and son Eric. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Nancy Sturgis. She was loved very much and will be missed.
Cremation has taken place and no service is planned.
