Obituary for Mina "Mikki" Hale
Mina was born August 1, 1938 and passed away on February 25, 2023 at the age of 84. The daughter of Alfred Seddon and Lula Martin was born in Mayville, Michigan. She later retired after 17 years as a research secretary from the University of Michigan.
Mina enjoyed music, dancing, and ceramics. She also loved gardening and all types of flowers. Mina loved hugs and most of all, she treasured her grandchildren.
Mina is survived by her spouse, David; children, Lisa (Allan) Garnes of Milan, MI and Grant Williams of Durand, MI; stepchildren, Laurel (Mike) Hanson, Scott Hale, and John (Marcia) Hale; grandchildren, Clarissa Hanson, Allie Hanson, Cory Hale, Emma Garnes, and Zobedya Hale; siblings, Mary (Bruce) Baird of Simpsonville, SC, Carol (Bruce) Sprague of Argentine, MI, Larry (Kim) Martin of Caro, MI and Carl Martin of Caro, MI; and many nieces and nephews.
Mina is preceded in death by her parents and by her siblings, Patricia (Robert) Jones, David Seddon, and Sharon Seddon.
