Our sweet mother, Nancy Ruth Lyke, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 unexpectedly. She always said she wanted to live to be 100 and she was 100 years and 2 months.

She would tell all who listened that she had the most blessed life with wonderful parents, three brothers and two sisters. At only 18 years old, she left her small hometown of Irvine, Kentucky to go to Plymouth, Michigan to join her sister, Leila. It was there, while working in a bakery she met her husband, Earl Lyke. She said he was the most loving and kind man and together they raised three children.

She leaves behind a son, two daughters, four grandsons, one granddaughter and five great-grandchildren.

Her loving personality and most giving heart will be missed by all who knew her.
