Obituary for Raymond Dale LeDuc

Raymond Dale LeDuc, age 68, passed away on January 28, 2021, in Livonia, Michigan.

Raymond was born on July 28, 1952 to parents, Raymond Elder and Shirley Ann LeDuc in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
In his adulthood, he became the Senior Engineer at EWI Worldwide (Exhibit Works) and he was a true “MacGyver” when it came to figuring out complex engineering components or designing and engineering large structural architecture. He worked with them for over 25 years designing custom exhibits, most notably for the International Auto Show. Raymond retired as their Senior Engineer about six years ago, at the age of 62.

Raymond always enjoyed working with his hands, whether it was home improvements to his house in Plymouth, helping friends and family, or working on the LeDuc family farm in West Branch, Michigan. Raymond enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether it was on the family farm or taking his boat to one of several lakes that he frequented in the warm months. He was also very interested in history, particularly that of his family and home. He had dedicated many hours to research in both.

Those who knew Raymond best will deeply miss him and cherish the fond memories they have created over the
years.

Raymond is survived by his daughter, Sara (her husband Sangseop Kim) LeDuc and her three children; son, Scott (his wife Samantha) LeDuc and his two children; as well as other close family members and friends.

Per the wishes of the family, cremation will be taking place in the care of Nie Family Funeral Homes in Ann Arbor, Michigan and a Celebration of Life will be held in honor of him in the coming summer months.
