Sammie passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the age of 83.

She is survived by her children, Vicki Barnes (Ross) Rothmeier, Connie Barnes (Gregg) Rasmussen, and Lance (Darla) Barnes; her grandchildren, Tiffany Dillon, Zack Dillon, Drew (Dana) Barnes, Shelby Barnes, Lauren Rasmussen, Brooke Rasmussen, and Trent Barnes; her great-grandchild, Nicolai; and her siblings, Lois Lancour and Louis Vick.
