Obituary for Sandra "Sandy" Jeanne (Jones) Grey
Sandra "Sandy" Jeanne Grey, age 73, of Bancroft, Michigan passed away Tuesday, February 1st, 2022 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Sandy enjoyed playing games, especially with her grandchildren, shopping for a good bargain, and finding exactly the information you needed. In 1964, she climbed on Bob’s motorcycle and loved every trip they took since, from canoeing down the Rifle River to snorkeling in the tropics and jumping out of a plane together. She loved to laugh and gab, and many individuals were supported by her listening ear and advice; Sandy was the glue that held the family together.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Darcy Jones. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert Grey; her son, Aaron Grey (wife Kelly) and two grandchildren, Natalie and Blue, of Indianapolis; her daughter, Melissa Grey of Ann Arbor; as well as her sister, Katherine; sister-in-law, Norma; several nieces and nephews, and many more family members including those gained by friendship and marriage.
A private farewell will be held for immediate family. We hope to host a celebration of life during warmer weather. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association-Donate.
