Obituary for Ujwala Thejeswini

Cute, happy, joyful, and always having a positive attitude towards life is how we all know our beautiful Ujwala to be. Due to unfortunate circumstances, Ujwala Thejeswini left for her heavenly abode on Sunday, 26th of July 2020, leaving a void in our hearts.

Ujwala was Sylvia and Immanuel Manoraj’s loving daughter, and Chaitanya Dolly’s little sister. As an engineering graduate from AIT college Chikmagalur, India, she came to the United States to pursue her master’s degree, realizing her lifelong dream. She graduated from Wichita State University in May 2017 and then moved to Michigan to work for Textron and then Ford Motor Company eventually. Lovingly called as “Ujju,” “Teju,” “UJ,” her charisma enchanted everyone, and she made a lot of good friends along the way. No matter what life threw at her, she always hit each one out of the ballpark with her strong positive vibe. Ujju was joyous, energetic, loving, free-spirited, loved to be with nature, loved dogs and gave herself fully to her friends and family. She enjoyed partying, travelling, exploring different places, going on grand adventures and wanted to be outdoors every opportunity she gets. Sky-diving, hiking the Grand Canyon, and helicopter rides are a few things she could tick off her bucket list. A talented artist, she immortalized her creativity through some beautiful paintings and her crazy jib-jab videos, which we all enjoy so much and are surely going to cherish it.

Ujju was always health conscious, had a healthy lifestyle and constantly nagged us to workout and be active. To keep her spirits always high, lets all vow to be healthy, fit, explore different places, go on adventures, and most importantly enjoy our life to the fullest!

She is survived by her parents, Immanuel and Syliva Manoraj; sister, Chaitanya Dolly; niece and nephew, Lea and Judah; brother-in-law, Benat; her aunt, Sarah; and her cousins. Ujwala will be deeply missed by all of her friends both in India and the US, who were like family to her.

“There are no goodbyes. Ujwala was, is and will always be in our hearts”

In keeping with Ujwala's caring and generous spirit, her last act of kindness was to be a organ and tissue donor which has provided the gift of life to over ten people already.

May her soul find comfort and Rest in Peace.
