Viola Virginia (Severson) Strempek passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at the age of 97 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Born June 1, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan, she graduated from Wayne State University and was married to the late Walter F. Strempek, MD for 55 years. They lived in Traverse City for many years.
Viola was the mother of three children, R. Barth Strempek, Jon C. (Kathy) Strempek and Elise A. (John) Brogan. She has two grandchildren, Brendon N. Brogan and Tyler Emilia Brogan.
Viola was talented, artistic, well read and the best cook. She will be missed.
