Vivan passed away at the age of 99 ½ on May 21, 2020 in Ann Arbor, Michigan and was born October 13, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan. She married Edward L. Walker on August 11, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan.

Vivian is survived by her loving daughter, Candice Walker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Gatsie I. Gillian (nee Brooks).
