Obituary for Von Lonziel "Von Zel" Cratic
Von Lonziel Cratic made his accession on November 25, 2021.
He leaves behind his loving mother, auntie, sister, his brothers, and a gang of cousins that considered him to be more like a brother, among other loving siblings.
To his mother Veronica, he was her miracle. Doctors had mistaken Von for a tumor for the first five months of Veronica’s pregnancy. Two months later on June 10, 1999, he was born in Chicago, IL, weighing 6lbs 8oz.
Von was truly a unique and special individual from the very start. Von graduated from Pioneer High School and went on to dedicate his life to his passion, music. His other passions included art and skateboarding. Von wanted to leave a lasting impression on the world and he has certainly done so for those fortunate enough to know him.
There will be a Memorial Gathering at Nie Funeral Home on Carpenter Road on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 12:00pm until the start of the Memorial Service at 1:00pm. Cremation has taken place.
