Obituary for Wanda Patricia "Pat" Pardon

Wanda Patricia “Pat” Pardon passed away on Saturday October 5, 2019. She was 58 years old.

Pat was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and was the loving daughter to the late Edward Charles “Chuck” Pardon III and Muriel C. Pardon, and sister to the late Edward “Ed” Charles Pardon IV.

Growing up Pat was part of the newspaper at Pioneer High School and she enjoyed playing the piano. She also loved to go to concerts with her brother Ed. Some of their favorites were Prince, Bowie, and Rush. Pat graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences. In school she had also studied criminal justice and worked as a law clerk and a Mary Kay consultant before her main career at Northway.

Pat was a resident of the Ann Arbor area for her entire life. She was employed at Northway Marketing Group from 1988 to present. Originally she had worked in Product Research and later moved into Sales Management. Pat was a member of two associations: PPAI (Promotional Products Association International) and ASI (Advertising Specialty Institute). Pat has provided and produced T-Shirts, Uniforms and Scrub Apparel in the Ann Arbor area, most notably for the University of Michigan, Michigan Medicine, Ann Arbor Police Department, and Ann Arbor Fire Department.

Pat’s dedication to the business, as well as a strong and loving commitment to friends, especially Tom Ericksen, and family, clientele and customers has earned her a place in many a heart. She is survived by her loving niece Valerie Pardon, as well as local and afar cousins. No formal memorial service is planned, however an informal gathering in her honor may take place at a later date. Contributions/Donations can be made in her name to Michigan Medicine.
