William died Monday, June 8, 2020 at the age of 69 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. He was born on July 25, 1950 in Detroit to Mary and Steve Iglikowski who preceded him in death. Will graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Roseville, MI and served in the Marine Corp Reserves.

After discharge and with a desire to help others, he obtained a degree in Respiratory Therapy. He spent thirty-eight years mainly at the University of Michigan Hospital in the Trauma Burn Department compassionately caring for his patients.

He retired in 2012 and used his newly found free time to pursue his passions in writing music, playing golf, seeking spiritual enlightenment, and attempting to corner the stock market. A life-long technophobe, he purchased his first TracPhone in 2018.

He is survived by his loving wife of nine years, Anne Ballow; and his sister and brother-in-law, Val and Carl Hargis of TN.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 from 6-8 pm for family and friends to rotate through at Nie Family Funeral Home, 2400 Carpenter Road, Ann Arbor, MI, 48108.

From the Voss family (old neighborhood in Roseville, MI - you lived across the street from us). It was a blessing to see you and your wife last year. You had written a song for the SHHS class of 1968 "In the Blink of an Eye" and sang it on the memorial bench at Sacred Heart cemetery that our class had purchased from leftover funds from our 50th class reunion in 2018. I was so thankful that Cindy Hill's husband "Rob" had recorded your singing on this bench and am able to see the video. My heartfelt sorrow for your wife Anne. You could definitely see how happy the 2 of you were.
