Obituary for William Stephen Iglikowski

William died Monday, June 8, 2020 at the age of 69 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. He was born on July 25, 1950 in Detroit to Mary and Steve Iglikowski who preceded him in death. Will graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Roseville, MI and served in the Marine Corp Reserves.

After discharge and with a desire to help others, he obtained a degree in Respiratory Therapy. He spent thirty-eight years mainly at the University of Michigan Hospital in the Trauma Burn Department compassionately caring for his patients.

He retired in 2012 and used his newly found free time to pursue his passions in writing music, playing golf, seeking spiritual enlightenment, and attempting to corner the stock market. A life-long technophobe, he purchased his first TracPhone in 2018.

He is survived by his loving wife of nine years, Anne Ballow; and his sister and brother-in-law, Val and Carl Hargis of TN.
